Family Ministries
Cornerstone sees the value in family ministry and many of our opportunities exist around family. We want to partner with parents to grow their children in the likeness of Christ. The church alone cannot raise a child to fear the Lord, parents must be the ones responsible and we want to equip you for the task.
Christianity is only one generation from disappearing from this earth. We need to educate our children in Scripture and prayer so that their faith grows as they grow.
The Cornerstone Youth Ministry exists to bring students into the body of Christ, to nurture students in their relationship with Christ, and to equip students to serve in the name of Christ. We have several men’s groups that meet during the week to give men an opportunity for Bible study and accountability. Our monthly men’s breakfast usually takes place the second Saturday of each month.
The women’s ministry is very active in Bible studies, bridal and baby showers, and other various ministries to help women in their walk with Christ whatever stage of life they are in.
Strong marriages make strong families. We provide biblical counsel before a marriage begins as well as counsel for marriages needing help. Marriage is the illustration that God uses to describe His relationship with His people so we must have strong marriages to reveal God's commitment to His people.
We refer to our small groups as T-Groups which stands for Transformation Groups. These groups serve as the primary way for individuals and couples to connect with the people of Cornerstone.
Service Opportunities
The Cornerstone Music Ministry exists to magnify God through musically excellent, Biblically accurate corporate music in order to aid in the mission of the church. For more information, please visit our Music Ministry page, or if you have questions, feel free to contact Pastor Eric.
The local church must be intentional about engaging the community. The gospel is good news that must be shared with that community.
The church is to be carrying out the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. We seek to provide support for missionaries serving domestically and internationally. We regularly offer opportunities to participate with our missionaries in Denver and other international service projects as the need arises.
We are always in need of friendly faces to be greeters at our Welcome Desk or ushers for our services. If you enjoy working with computers or audio, the music ministry could use your help. If you just want to be available to help with meals, our deaconesses recruit people to provide emergency meals or meals for special events.
