Awana is happening now! Join us for Awana each Wednesday from 6:00-7:45PM.
- Cubbies - two years before K
- Sparks - K, 1st and 2nd grades
- T&T - 3rd-6th grade
4:45-5:45PM - Trek & Journey 24/7 - Jr. & Sr. High
Many of our Awana nights have different themes. The theme nights are listed below.
August 31 – Nickel Fun Fair - 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. This event kicks off the year with games and prizes. Children will meet their leaders and receive starting books/booklets. Bring your nickels and have fun playing the games, proceeds will go to AWANA’s ministry they have to displaced children overseas.
September 7 – Every night this year is “bring a friend” - prize to clubber and friend who has come one or more times
September 14 – “I love AWANA” night – extra points to your team when clubbers wear the AWANA colors - red, blue, green, yellow (vests and shirts don’t count)
September 21 – Pajama Night – Come dressed in pajamas/robes/slippers
September 24 – (SATURDAY) AWANA Conference in Scottsbluff, NE 9:00AM -4:00 PM for all leaders and LITs J Let’s make it a priority to go and learn more about how we can more effectively serve our clubbers
September 28 – Wear your AWANA shirt or vest to school day – invite your friends to AWANA when they ask about your shirt or vest
*Cubbies will not be having a parent night this year but “All about me night” for each Cubbie through out the year. Parents and grandparents will be invited to come to Cubbies on that Cubbie’s special night
October 5 – Sparks Parent’s Night – parents, guardians & grandparents of Sparks invited to club
October 12 – T&T Parent’s night – parents, guardians & grandparents of T&T invited to club
October 19 – AWANA store for Cubbies, Sparks red and blue, T&T boys
October 26 – Bible Character Night – Clubbers come dressed as favorite Bible Character or story AWANA store for Sparks green and yellow, T&T girls
November 2 – AWANA Games Night – all games will be official AWANA games, start the kids thinking about the games
November 9 – Missionary Night – clubbers come with information about a favorite missionary or one their family supports, large group times will be the clubbers sharing about their missionaries
November 16 – Sharing the Joy Night - we will be participating in Operation Christmas Child. Clubbers bring wrapped shoe boxes filled with items for children in another country
November 23 – No AWANA, Thanksgiving break
November 30 – Flashlight Night - play games in the dark with flashlights, focus on the need for Christ’s light to show forth in our lives in the darkness of sin that is around us
December 7 – AWANA store night for Cubbies, Sparks red and blue, T&T boys
December 14 – Birthday Party for Jesus – Come dressed in Christmas colors (uniforms don’t count), games played will include “party” games - AWANA store night for Sparks green and yellow, T&T girls
December 21 – No AWANA Christmas Break
December 28 – No AWANA Christmas Break
January 4 – Welcome back night - all clubbers who say two sections or bring a friend will receive an ice cream certificate from Dairy Queen. Say a big thank you to Jim and Lynda Henry by patronizing Dairy Queen
January 11 – Hawaiian Night – come dressed in Hawaiian clothing
January 18 – AWANA no theme
January 25 – Crazy Hair Night - clubbers receive AWANA bucks for wearing crazy hairdos
January 28 – (SATURDAY) – Grand Prix – a day of racing your cars, awards for most creative car, etc
February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 – Adopt-a-club offering nights, we set a goal to give money to Zimbabwe for their AWANA ministry in that country , if we make our goal there will be an all club party to celebrate. We will gift wrap three leaders from each club if we make our goal.
February 1 – Double AWANA Bucks Night – AWANA bucks will be doubled for everything
February 4 – (SATURDAY) - T&T Bible Quizzing for 3rd-6th graders
February 8 – Sports Night – clubbers come dressed in their favorite sports attire
February 15 – Proud to be an American Night – clubbers come dressed in red, white, blue, stars, stripes, etc. (uniforms don’t count)
February 22 – AWANA store night for Cubbies, Sparks red and blue, T&T boys
February 29 – Joyful Noise Night - Clubbers bring a noisemaker - whistle, bell, home made drum or horn for a
night of rejoicing and music! We will celebrate the extra day of Feb. AWANA store night for Sparks green and yellow, T&T girls
March 7 – NO AWANA due to Spring Break
March 14 – AWANA Games Night - run AWANA games, boys and girls against each other
March 17 – (SATURDAY) - AWANA Games - in Scottsbluff, NE for Sparks and T&T
March 21 – AWANA no theme
March 28 – Topsy Turvy Night - play games backwards, dress inside out or backwards
April 4 – Freckles Night - Leaders will cover their face and hands with washable “freckles”. Clubbers who complete sections, may guess how many a leader has. AWANA bucks will be given out for guesses
April 11 – Indoor Snow Carnival – clubbers wear clothes with snow themes, games will be played with “snowballs”
April 18 – AWANA store for Cubbies, Sparks red and blue, T&T boys
April 25 – Favorite Game Night – Clubbers who have finished their books get to pick the games for game time. Last AWANA Club Night - AWANA store for Sparks green and yellow, T&T girls, any other clubbers that may have missed their store night or have more money
April 29 – (SUNDAY) AWANA Awards Night 5:00 PM - clubbers and leaders will receive their year-end awards for books finished. Dinner will be provided.
